I want to share with you guys something that I've been using for the past few years. I don't know if you ever heard of it, it's called futureme.org, a website that allows you send emails to your future self. I've only shared this with a select few who enjoy looking into the past and see what a fool we've been or to see how much we've grown. Whatever the reason, this website has done wonders on helping get a good insight of the way I was, who I've become, and who I want to be in the future. Since I started xanga again, I figure that this audience would enjoy it just as much as I do. Simply put, you just write an email to yourself and set a date to recieve it in your email inbox. I normally write what has changed since the last time I wrote and what i expect of the future. I know others who wrote their 5 year plan and set it to recieve that email in 5 years. What would you send to your future self? Looking at some of those emails I saw how naive and "young" I was, I find that I've really come a long way. I've matured a lot and can fend for myself. I still have so much to learn of course, and in a few years I will probably find myself saying the samething. But it's a good thing, cause that would just mean I've grown even more. Anyway if you decide to use it, have fun with it, splurge on what you want to say and just ramble on with whatever's going on in your head. Later down the line you'll see the very interesting results. (unless you have a boring life and nothing ever changes hahahah jk......NOT -.-) Since I always have pics, here's a step by step how to wash your hands. Something I found in a the bathroom of a restaurant in Chicago.
Step 1: Turn on water (As hot as is comfortable) Step 2: Wet your hands Step 3: Add soap and later hands, including the backs and wrists. If you handle food with y our hands, wash up to your elbows. Step 4: Wash each finger and scrub for 30 seconds. Use a fingernail brush Step 5: Rinse hands under running water Step 6: Dry hands with paper towel, air dryer or other sanitary hand drying device Step 7: Trun off water using paper towel Step 8: Check hands and fingernails are clean I was doing it wrong this whole time!!! someone buy me a fingernail brush please! haha |
